JOHN GARTH APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER AT THE RITZ-CARLTON GOLF CLUB & SPA, JUPITER

JUPITER, Fla. – September 30, 2010 –With over 24 years experience in the luxury hospitality realm, John Garth now has the distinguished responsibility of managing the extraordinary Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter. This property boasts 30 estate homes, 34 whole ownership residences, 50 Ritz-Carlton Destination Club residences and 17 villas. Garth also assumes accountability for management of the 18-hole Signature Jack Nicklaus golf course, world-class Ritz-Carlton Spa, fitness facility and four dining outlets.

Garth most recently served as general manager at the iconic Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch in Colo. since 2007. As general manager, Garth oversaw the 200-room hotel as well as the adjoining Ritz-Carlton Club, Bachelor Gulch and The Ritz-Carlton Residential Suites.

Garth’s career in hospitality began in 1986 with Marriott International in sales and marketing, and he has held positions of increasing responsibility over the next 13 years. In 2002, Garth joined the White Lodging group as general manager of the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows and subsequently received the coveted “General Manager of the Year” award from Marriott in 2004. Prior to joining The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC, Garth held two separate positions overseeing a portfolio of various lodging properties.
