THE RITZ-CARLTON GOLF CLUB & SPA, JUPITER ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, CRAIG SACCO

JUPITER, Fla. – July 23, 2008 – Craig Sacco has been appointed director of operations at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter. With more than nine years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sacco will be responsible for overseeing all club and residential operations for the 285-acre community.


Prior to his position with The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter, Sacco most recently served as front-of-the-house manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Key Biscayne, a AAA Five Diamond property in Miami. He managed all hotel and residential operations for the 490-room resort and increased revenue and guest satisfaction levels.


Sacco joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in 1999 at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia. He transferred to The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami in 2002, where he was promoted over four years to director of loss prevention and quality for the 115-room hotel and 224 residential units.


Sacco earned an associate’s degree in specialized technology, culinary arts and food and beverage management from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, and holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Widener University in Philadelphia. He continued his studies at the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Motel Association. He furthered his development through hospitality-related certifications with the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Motel Association.
